"Alright Phil, do I thank you or curse you? You’ve ruined me for life." -Jef

Namibia, May 2007

Jef's first head of African game, a Hartmann's Zebra stallion. Shot prone at 150 yards using R.P.G. Kalahari rifle in .375 H&H and a Barnes 270gr. TSX.

Jef on the left and Phil on the right.

Namibia, May 2007

4 days of hard hunting led to the collection of this  once in a lifetime Rowland Ward quality Gemsbok bull. He measures 40 ½ inchs with 8 ½ inch bases. He was shot at a distance of 325 yards from about ¾ of the way up the hill between his horns.

This was the purpose behind the Kalahari rifle.

Namibia, May 2007

52 inch Kudu with 12 inch bases taken walking away uphill at 225 yards as he came into an opening just before going over the hill. Not my best animal but a good trophy none the less.

Tanzania, September 2007

After 11 days of stalking Phil Martin (Left) and Ron Hutchinson (Right) got thier trophy Cape Buffalo. Both buffalo were taken with in 15 minutes of each other. Not sure how big just yet, but they should be well in the Rowland Ward.

Phil's Buffalo was shot with a Rhys Precision 458 Lott.

Namibia, May 2007

This baboon found out there was a steep learning curve when it comes to running everything off from the water hole and squawking about the guys back in the blind.

His wife on the other hand is not as thrilled to have it coming back even if he's only having the head done as a skull mount. She thinks it's one ugly discusting critter!

Namibia, May 2007

Callling varmints isn’t just for North America. Just had to see if I could call in a Jackle while I was there. Next time I’m definitely taking a smaller rifle just to shoot vamints. The .375 was a little rough on this one. Stem to stern and exited the side of his head.
